UNIVERSAL CHARTER

Universal Charter of Justice, Life, and Respect for Nature

PREAMBLE

We, the citizens of the world, recognize that the dignity of every human being, respect for all forms of life, and the protection of nature are the foundations of lasting peace, true justice, and our shared future.

We affirm that justice belongs to no nation, religion, culture, or era. It is a universal value that unites humanity through respect, equality, and responsibility.

Aware that the future of present and future generations depends on the choices we make today, we proclaim the following principles.

ARTICLE 1

Human Dignity

Every person is born free and equal in dignity and rights. Every human being deserves respect, protection, and the opportunity to live in peace, freedom, and security.

ARTICLE 2

Justice

Justice guarantees equality before the law, impartial decision-making, and the rejection of all forms of discrimination. It protects victims, respects the rights of the defense, and seeks the truth with integrity, fairness, and accountability.

ARTICLE 3

Human Rights

Human rights are universal, inalienable, and indivisible. No one may be deprived of their fundamental rights because of their origin, nationality, sex, beliefs, religion, language, social status, or any other characteristic.

ARTICLE 4

The Right to Life

Life is the first and most fundamental right. Every person has the right to exist, to live in safety, to protect their health, to preserve their dignity, and to have their life respected by all.

ARTICLE 5

The Rights of Children

Every child has the right to love, protection, education, healthcare, safety, and the opportunity to develop in an environment free from violence, exploitation, neglect, and discrimination.

ARTICLE 6

Equal Rights of Women and Men

Women and men possess equal rights, equal freedoms, and equal responsibilities. Every form of discrimination, violence, or inequality based on sex or gender must be rejected and eliminated.

ARTICLE 7

Animal Rights

Animals are sentient living beings deserving of respect, compassion, and protection. They must be safeguarded from cruelty, abuse, abandonment, and unnecessary suffering. Their well-being and natural habitats must be preserved.

ARTICLE 8

Protection of Plant Life

Trees, plants, forests, and all vegetation are essential to life on Earth. Protecting and restoring them is a shared responsibility of humanity.

ARTICLE 9

Respect for Nature

The Earth, oceans, rivers, air, mountains, soils, wildlife, and biodiversity must be protected to preserve ecological balance and ensure the survival and well-being of present and future generations.

ARTICLE 10

Responsibility of Peoples and Nations

Every citizen, institution, community, and nation has the responsibility to promote justice, defend fundamental rights, preserve peace, protect the environment, and act responsibly toward future generations.

ARTICLE 11

Solidarity Among Peoples

The peoples of the world are called upon to cooperate in a spirit of solidarity, mutual respect, dialogue, and peace in order to build a fairer, safer, and more sustainable world.

ARTICLE 12

Universal Commitment

We commit ourselves to defending justice, human rights, the right to life, the protection of animals, the preservation of plant life, and respect for nature. We believe that these principles belong to all humanity and form the foundation of a world built on dignity, freedom, equality, responsibility, justice, and peace.
